SPARCLERS Mini Session 3 (Code 126)
June 17 – June 21, 2024 in-person at Epiphany Lutheran Church (1400 Horsepen Rd, Richmond, VA 23226) (NO CAMP June 19th)
Hours: 9am – 12:30pm.
Ages: 4 – 5. If your camper will be 6 years old by the first day of camp, you may enroll them in SPARCLERS.
Theme: Harmony Helpers
Have you ever wondered what it might be like to create harmony together? As a harmony helper, you will learn more about these things through song, dance and creative play. You’ll be able to show off your performing arts skills with the special people in your life during your end-of-week final share.

SPARCLERS Session 3 (Code 125)

Extended afternoons are not offered on the last day of camp. Youth will go home with trusted adults after their final sharing performance.
Ages: 6 – 8; Rising 1st – 3rd Grades
Theme: Ancient Adventures
Travel back in time to a mythological place where you are the hero of the story in this performing arts camp. Your journey will use storytelling, song, and dance to tell the story of your incredible adventures. Whether meeting mythical creatures or discovering new treasures, your skills will be honed for victory by the end of the week. Share your new skills and bravery at your final performance for friends and family.

Backstage Camp 8th-12th (Code 130)
Monday, June 24 to Friday, June 28 in-person at SPARC (2106 North Hamilton Street Richmond, VA 23230)
Hours: Mon. – Fri., 9am – 3pm (optional extended day care available at an extra cost)
- Early Arrival from 8:15AM – 9AM, $65
- Extended Afternoon from 3PM – 4:30PM, $98
Extended afternoons are not offered on the last day of camp.
Grades: Rising 8th to 12th
Location: SPARC
SPARC’s Backstage Camp is a great choice for young people who love to build new things, bring their ideas to life, and get a messy along the way. Learn important skills that designers and technicians need for staging theatrical productions, like painting, making props, stage management, costuming, and more.
Youth who are interested in learning more about technical theatre are encouraged to participate! No prior skills or experience are necessary.

Theme: Uniquely You
Sometimes it’s hard to recognize just how special you are! Take a closer look within to find your own special light during this week full of songs, dance, and crafts. Use your new performing arts skills to help tell creative stories – and celebrate your own unique self. Reflect on the lessons you learned with friends and family at your final share at the end of the week!

Ever wished upon a star? Many of your favorite characters from popular television shows and movies have in order to get their wishes. Discover what awaits you, using storytelling, singing, and dancing. Find out how to make your dreams come true while using your creativity and teamwork to tell those stories. What will you discover in the sky? Invite your friends and family beyond the second star to the right at the end of the week for your final share.

Grades: Rising 4th to 7th
In this fast-paced musical theatre-focused camp, youth will learn legendary songs and dances from some of the greatest Broadway musicals. Campers will practice their musical theatre skills during each active day of Broadway Blast as they prepare to share what they’ve learned in their final shared performance. No audition necessary to be a Broadway star this summer!
