Hours: 9am – 3pm (optional extended day care available at an additional cost)

  • Early Arrival from 8:15AM to 9AM, $70
  • Extended Afternoon from 3PM to 4:30PM, $105

Extended afternoons are not offered on the last day of camp. Youth will go home with trusted adults after their final sharing performance.

Land Before Oz

Ever wondered what happened before Dorothy landed in Oz? Discover what awaits beyond the yellow brick road using storytelling, singing, and dancing. Explore beloved characters using your creativity and teamwork to tell their stories. You’re sure to have a wickedly good time performing some of your favorite songs and dances! Defy gravity on the last day of camp by sharing what you have learned with friends at family at your final share.

Mining Your Craft 

Create new cities and worlds where you are the hero of the story in this performing arts camp. Your journey will use storytelling, song, and dance to tell the story as you mine for incredible adventures. Whether imagining new cities or discovering new treasures, your performing arts skills will be honed for victory by the end of the week. Share your new skills and creativity at a final performance for friends and family.

Monday, July 28 - August 8, 2025 camp meets at SPARC (2106 North Hamilton Street Richmond, VA 23230).

Hours: Mon. – Fri., 9am – 3pm, (optional extended day care available at an additional cost)

  • Early Arrival from 8:15AM – 9AM, $140
  • Extended Afternoon from 3PM – 4:30PM, $210

Extended afternoons are not offered on the last day of camp. Youth will go home with trusted adults after their final sharing performance.

The last day of camp and Final Shares will take place off site on the evening of the last day of camp – Friday, August 8, 2025.

August Adventure Jr. 2025 Presents Frozen KIDS!

You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. This musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. Final shares for this camp will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025 at an offsite location.
